Technology teaching English for children-Pros

Since it is time of technology, the computer literacy enters into our daily life. For children, there are so many stimuli including TV, DVD,and computer. There are so many advantages if teacher uses technology teach English. Firstly, it improves learners' self-atomicity at home through Internet. Secondly, it keep high children's high motivation through vivid pictures,animations,and audio device. Thirdly, it offers comprehensible input by step and step to keep learners' self-confidence. Also, there are advantages for teachers themselves. Firstly, teachers could save time to produce lots of flash cards which has pictures. Secondly, teachers could search any imformantaion about the compensatory materials which support course books. Thirdly, teachers could understand whether students comprehensive or not in the classroom through real projects, which could be collaborate by students by blogs, e-mail, and so on, and also save papers from trees.

The advantages of Computer Literacy

I want to talk about the advantages of Computer Literacy. Since the technonlogy times is coming, it have entered our daliy life from job to entertainment. We can watch famous and favorite films nomatter the film had played on TV. We might not memorize vocabulary no matter the letters or characters; however, we won't worry it since computer literacy could correct it when we type it wrong If we want to learn or know somethig new, we could use internet through computer to know everything. We also can work through our application on computer literacy. It is very great, isn't it? We also can connat with our friends who live very far from us through computer literacy. And then,the world is becoming a villagenot contries through computer literacy. The using power of computer literacy is growing!

What is Podcast?

Podcast is a combination of "i pod" and board casting originally through the RSS feeding. It can downland any media like power point, fashion movies, popular music , and so on into it. It uses not only in i pod or i Tunes, it also can use digital audio player from 2005. These informations could found in Wikipedia if you are interested. However, if you are not familiar with RSS as me, I find two videos from Youtube to introduce RSS: the first one introduced the concept of RSS and show me an example of Google reader; the second one introduced the example of Freereader. And these two examples below is very easy to understand even I am not very familiar with the computer.

Now, let's talk about what a podcast is as I mentioned above, I also have found out one video from Youtube to introduce podcast by clear words in PPT and impressing picture to make the concept clear.

I am glad to enter the course which I entered called Computer-assited Language Learning, because I am going to be an ELT teacher and I think that I must to learn a lot about this area.
